I was in a mood to hunt for a new winter jacket. Something that is nice and looks rugged enough at the same time I can wear casually for daily use if I have to. I happened to be in Boston, US when I spotted this jacket from a Columbia Factory Outlet Store in their display model. I knew the first time I saw it, that this is the jacket I was looking for. It's a very good looking jacket and very versatile. I ended up purchasing this jacket for $140 including tax which is decent compare to MSRP of $220US. I was really happy that I got this jacket since I am bringing it over to Canada, there is not much people that have the same jacket especially the color. The quality of the material is really good as well as the stitches. It is waterproof and can withstand cold weathers. I was wearing this jacket below 0 degrees celsius and the coldest temperature that I wore this jacket was -20 degrees celsius and still kept me warm. I forgot to mention that I was only wearing a t-shirt underneath the jacket and no sweater or long sleeves shirts at all. I was surprise myself to find out that this jacket is so warm. As for other features of this jacket. It has 3 frontal pockets, one for left and one right side as well as a pouch at the frontal part of the chest. They all have zipper for opening with deep pockets. Also this jacket is waterproof and should protect you from rain according to Columbia.
The jacket features the OMNI-Heat Reflective Technology which reflects
your body heat back to your body. One thing I also like about this
jacket is that it is very light. The hood is removable and the inner lining with reflective technology is interchangeable. The jacket comes with different colors, there was a black one and dark olive green with combination of grey. I got the blue color with two shades of it with royal navy and lighter blue color. If you are looking for a great jacket that can withstand cold weather, this might be a jacket for you. I definitely recommend this jacket for men. It looks very nice and easy to wear with different kinds of jeans or outfit. If you take out the hood, it looks so much better with rugged casual look and you can even wear it with nice dress jeans with leather shoes. I worn this jacket for about 6 weeks and no complain at all. I really really like it. Try it out guys!
